World Trade Exhibitions, the organisers of the AQA Conference 2009 are pleased to announce that the full programme has now been released. The Conference will take place on the 18th September 2009 at the IFEVI Exhibition Centre, Vigo, Spain, alongside the AQA 2009 Exhibition and WFE Vigo'09.

The Conference speakers are all key industry figures, a line-up that is unlikely to be seen anywhere else this year and include: Dr Selina Stead, President of the European Aquaculture Society, Gustavo Larrazábal, President of Tinamenor Group, Spain and Chairman, European Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Platform, Jean-Claude Cueff, Head of Unit, Aquaculture, DG MARE, European Commission, John Dallimore, Operations Director, TNC Partners, Hamburg, and Gema Chicharro Santos, Studies & Research, Agroseguro, Spain.

Entitled 'Marine aquaculture - the 21st century challenge for world fishing' the AQA Conference will focus on the trend to switch from wild capture fisheries to marine aquaculture. It is a must-attend event for small to medium sized fleet owners looking to expand into this fast growing sector, together with recently established marine aquaculture farm operators and anyone wanting an update on the latest technology, services and practices.

The AQA Conference is supported by the European Aquaculture Society (EAS), the Spanish Marine Fish Farmers Association (APROMAR) and the Spanish Aquaculture Society (SEA). The Conference will conclude with a networking drinks reception after which delegates will be able to visit AQA 2009 Exhibition and WFE Exhibition.

The conference will be simultaneously translated into English/Spanish, to download the full programme click here!

Delegate places are being booked already and, as space at the Conference is limited, delegates are urged to book their place as soon as possible. To book contact Karen Tolley, Conference Administrator, on +44 (0) 1329 820099 or by email: ktolley@worldtradeexhibitions.com.
